DIY 29gal Sump Project - Input Wanted

I was asking questions about this month ago but the new tank (120gal, 4ftx2ftx2ft) is going up at the end of July - if the deal on the house we're buying goes through. So I have to do this build I've been planning. I cut the pieces of plexiglass (free) up and mocked them up in the tank and figured I'd ask for input before siliconing everything together. water will move from right to left

pump will be where the can is on left. water will enter on right. rock in middle. fuge on upper left. baffle on right side

baffle to help with bubble control.

Any suggestions are welcome as I've never done this before...also any pump recommendations would be helpful as that is the next thing I'm buying.

You might find some useful opinions in my frankentank thread (click in my signature). I am really liking my 29 sump the way it ended up

I would make an under/over/under baffle between the skimmer and fuge, and just a single plate from the fuge to the return, or arranged like the 2 plate baffle in your pics, but then add a block of foam sponge between those 2 plates to catch anything that may try to flow out of the fuge.
