So I build the media basket/platform someone had suggested. (top to bottom) 1st level will be for filter floss, 2nd level for CPE and 3rd level for Purigen. I know it looks crooked but i did it that way for better water flow (haha just kidding).

I've also decided to make this tank fish only so today I received my artificial coral from Instant Reef and Gus (BADGUS) gave me a few as well. Thanks Gus for having us over. The kids are still talking about the HUGE tank and the morish idol :)

:-( Your kids reef already looks better than mine. My next tank is gonna be an instant reef tank, I can see it now.

Thanks Eric. Up close the texture looks really good and realistic however the yellow color corals could have been tone down a bit. I am still really happy with it and the kids are very excited.

So im currently adding the sand and positioning the artificial corals in the tank. I will be seeding with live sand from my 75g and adding rubble rock as well to the 2nd chamber.

Should I wait to add the chemi pure elite and the purigen until the tank cycles or do they need to be added now?

That is one BEAUTIFUL pair of clowns. Almost as nice as my semi's ;-) but of course I am biased... I love the instant reef insert, no maintenance or need for fancy salt mixes or dosing. Your kids are super lucky to have such a nice tank to show off to their friends!

Haha...You do have some nice semi's. It's actually working out great without having to worry about any corals but I might need to get them a home at some point. Maybe one of those wicked BTA's.

Thanks Reefer. I plan on adding some type of goby and pistol down maybe in another two weeks if I find something I like. Need to contact MCF. It has to be just as nice as the BICs. :)

Very nice clowns! They look very happy in their new home.
We do have some awesome yasha gobies at the moment as well as some pistol shrimp. 15% off fish this weekend too!
