Favorite Reef Store

I like Old Orchard Aquarium in the Skokie area the best.. It's a nice big shop with a large selection of everything, inverts, fish, corals and supplies. I live next door to New Fish in Wicker park, Its alright. I also like Old Town Aquarium in Old Town. It's a little pricey but they get new shipments pretty often and so far the staff has been super nice and knowledgable... One more to note is Fish Planet in deerfield, they have nice corals.
 
Sho tank is my go to shop im spoiled though only living 5 minutes away. I stop in at reeefwise when im in the area for work and i enjoy the selection also
 
I love reef wise to go look at its located at 5401 Patton Dr #105, Lisle, IL 60532
(630) 853-5564 I like them because of the display and the tank set up I can watch their coral all day. The fish are in clean tanks healthy in appearance and some what pricey yet negotiable also. It is also cool for its location I love the warehouse look and feel. I always weed through any advice I get from any one based on reading and research and I have never gotten any bad information from them or anything I felt was out of line. My go to store is aquarium adventures located at Bolingbrook and Hoffman estates. I get less and less from them as my maturity in the hobby grows as I look for more specifics....and I take what they say with a large grain of salt...however when I need something now.... frozen food or chemical or any dry good I go there first. They got me back into this hobby and all of their fish have been health and are thriving. With out them I may still be saying I wonder if I should start a salt water tank again.... the next store I have enjoyed is Chicago Fish and Coral Company

I walked int ok a great deal on my sump excellent fish and corrals a little pricey but solid advice and an all around good experience here plus there the only ones who sell some of the food I use. Bonus. ....they have great toys for our two Macaws so when we go to buy for her birds I can slip in a purchase for the fish also ...... I will be looking to go to some of the places I have seen here thank for sharing all.
 
Aquapros has taken most of my money. Just went to Reefwise for the first time this weekend, very nice fish selection. These two will probably be my go-to's. Also, they have the best prices around on the reef crystals I use.
 
Aquapros hand down for price and coral. Reefwise would be a distant second if not for the one guy who always follows me and comments on every coral i so much as glance at. I'd honestly like to look around in peace, ALONE.

Yah have you noticed everything is 'Ultra'.. to that guy....lol.
 
Everytime I go to Reefwise, which isnt very often, he swears he knows me from somewhere. I always tell him you know me from the last time I was here, nowhere else bud. Lol.

Yeah everything was extremely rare, even the Eagle eye zoas... Their tanks are amazing though. One of their Hammerhead spawned and they have hundreds of little hammer head baby's on their live rock under their eggcrate .
