Feel Better Soon Erik!

Well a lot of people have been asking about my surgery so ill try and explain it as best i can.
OK
1. The Heart Defect
Ok to understand the surgery one must understand the defect. SO it was passed down from my mom genetically and it's called Supraventricular Tachycardia or SVT. So this SVT is an extra wire, if u will, that over rides the node that regulates the heartbeat. It's a random episode that is triggered by anything. This causes my heart to beat at about 230 BPM. There are a couple things i can do to try and get it back but if not i have to go to the hospital and get drugs shot into me that basically flat line my heart...so in reality i've been dead about 20 times. F' u YOLO :P
2. The previous surgeries
So as you guys have seen ive been saying third times the charm...this is because i had my first surgery November 2011 it lasted 8 hours and was announced successful...within 24 hours my heart went into SVT...it was deemed that they repaired one extra wire to only open another one somewhere else.
The second surgery was a complete failure. There were traces of my medicine still in my body and they could not get my heart into an SVT attack. They tried 7 dif medicines and even fully waking me up during surgery...all this led to a huge migraine and throwing up a black liquid.. Failure 2
3. This surgery
I was in "twilight" this time which means half in and half out of anesthetics. SO the procedure is NOT open heart surgery. Basically what they do is put 2 catheters in my thighs to start. They shock the heart w/ electricity to get it started (in the third procedure we got it started within the first 6 minutes) ones it's in SVT they use the other catheter to find it...once they do that they put in 3 more on my right..3 on my left thigh. and one in my neck...2 of these are radio catheters (to burn the wire) and 2 are for freezing it if it's by major arteries/veins/nodes. After finding it's exact location the attack it in what they call lesions. A normal SVT patient goes through 2-3 lesions...i got 17. After they think they got it they keep electrocuting my heart to see if it's still there. after 8 hours they determined that they got it. 2 cardiologist surgeons...3 anesthesiologists...and 5 nurses all in the operating room.

WE FINALLY GOT THE BASTARD WOO HOO

Well, that sounds stressful for everyone involved.... Still though, glad it worked! I might be able to give you one of those paly frags you like as a successful surgery/tank warming gift. :D
