A few peppermint shrimps should take care of that :)
Really digging your rock work! Enjoy your reef coming to life in the next few months.
 
Salinity might be a little low.. Might want to slowly bump it up to 1.025 - 1.026.. Tank looks great by the way..

I picked up some Red Sea Aptasia-X the other night and I took him out. Hopefully there won't be any more.

The cycle is continuing nicely. After a week, ammonia is down to .25 ppm. Nitrite is still 5.0 ppm and Nitrate is up to 40 ppm. (PH, salinity and temp are all normal)

In other news I've decided to start a quarantine tank. I picked up a 10 gal tank from Petco, ($1 gal sale) and a HOB filter & heater.

Parameters are coming along nicely. After 9 days...

Ammonia: Down to a Trace
Nitrite: .25 ppm & falling
Nitrate: 10 ppm & falling
PH: 8.2
Salinity: 1.023
Temp: 78

So far I haven't seen any more hitch hikers.

Well, after 12 days the cycle has pretty much ended.

Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 5
PH: 8.2
Salinity 1.024* I'm gradually increasing salinity from 1.023 to 1.025.
Temp 79
Calcium: 420
AlK: 9.2 dkh
Magnesium: 1500* a tad high, but I just did a 20% water change.
