From a Biocube 29 to a 60 Gallon Acrylic Reef Ready Tank

Yesterday I made some changes to coral placement, did a water change, and cleaned filter socks. My Kalkwasser dosing via ato is keeping my params stable than ever before and I'm starting to notice the corals response to it by signs of growth, coloration, and polyp extension.

So the re-aquascape went well. As of right now I see no negative effects on livestock. I was able to get the fox face I had in there out and into a new home.
I'm not sure how I like this redo yet but here are some pics of it now

Pics came out crappy, but it'll do for now. I still have to glue some things down. There were only 2 big rocks that i didn't move so it kind of looks the same when you first look at it

I would guess you would have a fish from that menu. I only see the coral beauty and one clown, though.

Haha. Yea I have a pretty good bio load in there with about 10 fish. A pair of clowns, coral beauty, azure damsel, Royal gramma, Kole tang, and 3 chromis. Everyone gets along really well, no aggression.

You learn new things constantly in his hobby. For the longest time I thought I needed a new pump for my biopellet reactor. Well last night I cleaned the heck out of my reactor and the hoses. Boy did that make a difference!! Lol lesson learned. Clean your equipment boys and girls

Been a while since I've updated my thread.... I should learn to take my own advice.... as I mentioned in my last post, cleaning your a equipment goes a long way! Last night I decided to soak one of my powerheads in a 50/50 vinegar/water solution, and OhMyWOW! I immediately noticed a difference in flow from just the one pump. I'll be heading to the store for more vinegar to get my second pump cleaned. I'll be posting some updated pics later.

So after a good year of coasting, my tank is taking a turn for the worse. I'm really trying to get it back on track. I've had issues with nitrates & my biopellet reactor. Almost all of my SPS is stn, i have a few pieces left. It's times like this where I can now understand why some people decide to call it quits. I guess it could be worse....
