grow out contest?

I just looked, and it seems like 21-23 polyps on my UC colony that would be considered "fair" to use for growout contest. about 26-28 total polyps on the frag. If someone just wants a whole colony of them for the same $350 asking price for their private collection, I'm cool with that as well, really need to get these bills knocked down a bit one way or another. So actually closer to $15/pp plus the few spare polyps in the purchase.
 
Yea I for sure want to get in on this one. I was waiting forever for the last one to end and have been keeping my eye out for the new one to start. Cant wait :)

grow out contest is when a group of people on here get frags of say a zoa usually. they you are given a time frame to grow it out. the person with the most growth(new polyps) at the end of the period wins some type of prize.
 
I say we go with George's colony, UCs would be a good grow out -got 23 solid polyps and we ate can cap the contest and were helping out a member of our feeding community. We could still go $25-30/entry for supplies and to the winner. We may be able to get sponsors to donate raffles/winner prizes.

that way we can get the contest Going, since it'll be hard to find a nice/large colony from a store..
 
agree how much and i do think since we are limiting it the previous grow out people should get first dibs to get in on this what do you guys think
 
Who's organizing and fragging? Dre? A new thread should be started once the palys have been chosen. Getting a nicer polyp also means there may be slower growth and high fatalities.

Sorry!! With two jobs and traffic in&out just for the wife... Won't work!!
 
Brad (BBRT) expressed (on pg 4) that he could buy the whole colony from George, frag it, and get this contest going. He stated he has a frag tank, coral saw and all necessary fagging tools as well.
 
I would love to get in on this if possible. If not possible I wouldn't mind just buying a frag of (not worthy for contest) polyps if there are any.
