Have to move, what do I do ?

So I am moving from a condo eventually into a house. My realtor came by and said my 90 has to be moved out in order to sell the place ( I almost died when he told me) any way problem is the stand inbuilt for it can't be moved it weighs a ton and it was a pain getting it up to the third floor. Unfortunately I have to sell my condo first before getting a house. my parents are letting me set it up there temporarily until I move. The problem is what do I do buy another tank and stand or do I get a pond vat or a Rubbermaid. I would hate to down size ? I'm clueless any recommendations are welcome?

Do a lot praying and do the transfer ,you don't need to buy another tank"perfect excuse", just don't rush.

I am not moving straight into my new house so I have to get this tank out of my condo and set it up at my parents basement so I can sell my condo and then find a place so it may be a couple months it has to sit there

Very understandable ,I moved 4 months ago and still have everything in the basement in a 150 gallon tub with no problems...

You could tell your broker that if he can't sell the condo with the tank in it, you'll find one who can. He works for you, not the other way around!

I have my license, never heard of any rule about property needing to be tank free to sell. Its no different than a house with a large projection TV or a pool table. It might be his opinion that it shows better without the tank but that's just one opinion. Make sure your tank is nice and clean before showings is all. A little joke like "sorry, the tank doesn't come with the condo" would slay.

I agree 100%! But he claims I have to repaint the walls which is already a pain because I have to move it . He claims if someone comes to look at it the tank might turn them away. They might worry be cause its saltwater on the third floor and it's a condo. It's not the best looking but it's not bad.

Tell that Realitor to f off these people so lazy nowadays. When i walk into a house i dont look at the persons things i look at the space and the possibility. And wether its the best or not people r alway intrigued by saltwater fish tanks i have delivery guys that ask if they can take pics

I agree it's frustrating. Worst case scenario any rubber made / pond containers would work?

Hey man good luck with the move and sale but I'm saying this not because I'm a reefer. if I was buying a house condo apt whatever if I walked into any of the and they had a stunning tank it would be a plus. I'd tell the sales man bye bye

Include it in the sale that would be a plus if i would be buying a house

If you're going to setup tank at your parents house, i think id go with a couple of brute's on wheels, which you might find more useful going forward. I find these Brutes on wheels great for water changes, and mixing, very useful.
