Having trouble keeping montiporas

Do you have any others sps in the tank? Months are generally hardy so if it was an Alk/cal swing I would think you'd have other bleached dying corals. Since your calc is so low your Alk could be out of whack too. Before you try to raise your calc definitely measure your Alk. They run in a tight balance that you don't want to get too messed up. That in combination with lights is my guess for the culprit. I run my kessil at 100% and have a variety of montis all within 12-14 inches from the light with no bleaching which is my reason for the combo theory
 
I'm with the others that say check your CA ALK and MAG. Although my montis are hardy, they commonly tell me when parameters are messed up. I have noticed that they start doing poor when MAG drops (which usually means the other levels are jacked up too). Once I fix my mag, within a day or two polyp extension is back. If they go long enough to lose color, it takes a few weeks to regain that once parameters are in check.
