My name is Connor and I live out in the nw suburbs of Chicago. I have been keeping fish for probably about 3 years now but just recently got into reefing in the last few months. I was in the process of setting up my 55 gallon rr tank with 20 gallon sump when my wife decided it was time to look for a new house and move so rather than set this up as a display tank I am converting it more to a growout tank for corals until the move and will then set up a bigger display tank in the new house.
The tank is a 55 gallon deep blue tank with a sump I made from a 20 gallon I had. I am using the sb reef 32" led fixture (350w) for the 55 and the sb reef spar for the fuge. I have about 2200 gph of flow and run a reef octopus 110 skimmer.
