I want a Clam, but...

You need a tank that has been completely stable for well over 6 months, before considering a clam.
A dead clam can easily crash your system very quickly.
 
yes, I agree... stable and established tank! same with SPS... I hope the frags you got from me went into an established tank...
patience! rushing into anything with this hobby results in disaster.
 
Eric, those frags went to my big tank, well established, don't worry. I'm just working on stocking my new nano now. Don't worry, I'm doing research first.
 
ok, good. Got worried there. I'd wait for a couple months before you go with a clam in your nano - I waited a year. They are very sensitive creatures... One day they will look fine, the next day not so good, then the day after dead.
