Jason's 100 Gallon Rimless Tank

OT: what is your avatar Jason?

The avatar is my favorite marine fish the Dusky Jawfish.

I did finally get the water in and am starting to cycle.

Here is a pic of the near final aquascape. The ONLY change is that I am probably going to pull out the shelf rock from the front left island. My wife and I both decided it is hiding too much of the island in back of it.

The rock I outlined in red is the one we are probably pulling out.

The cool thing that is hard to tell from this picture is that the majority of the large island on the right isn't touching the sand. It should have great flow as a result. Here is a side shot that hopefully helps to illustrate my point.

Here's a video. Actually my first YouTube upload ever...

Thanks! I am extremely proud of how the rockwork turned out.

I religiously followed the ideas from http://www.h2oplusomething.com/inde...72:aquascaping&catid=52:aquascaping&Itemid=64

My design really allows the eyes to flow from one rock to the other. The dimensions of the 36x36x18 tank gave me room to give the aquascape visual depth. 2D photos and movies really don't do it justice. The article I linked above is hands down the best aquascaping article I've ever read. Without it I could never have made a rockscape like this.
