The suspense is killing us...just finish filling her up and we'll go from there. :)

lol hopefully tonight i'll finish filling her up but will run it with rodi water for a bit to kill off whatever is in the rock and sand.. Sand and rock were from another person's tank thats why. But im excited for this tank lol.. U need to get another tank up man.lol

Cool....Yeah, no pest wanted.
I think I have to set the wife up a tank first. She wants a softie/sea whip/sponge tank.

Nice. My wife also liked that gorgonian that we saw at AP. What kinds of conditions are needed for the gorgonian?

I have a 28 gallon nano cube i bought from ben a while back, was going to set it up as an office tank but decided against it. Its PC so could remove the top and use your par bulb. PM me if you are interested in it.

Sorry for the thread jack! I want to watch the build too!

Yeah i had the sand sitting in SW for about 8 months so I don't know what bugs are in there! lol

I am...now I'm just looking for the right tank. I already have a par 38 bulb with gooseneck fixture.

probably need to get a reasonably tall tank.. but not too tall or u wont have much par on the sand bed with the par38

it really just depends on whether the gorgonian u get is photosynthetic or non photosynthetic.. but they should be fine in any reef just make sure to give them enough light or food
