Joe's 75g never ending headache Build thread

Yah mine finally came out today for the first time since Saturday. Spotted it pecking at the Rock so hopefully he's eating some pods. I tried squirting rods frozen food at him but totally ignored it.

Still haven't spotted the new female wrasse. Went into hiding last saturday and no signs of her yet. I noticed a few days ago my male was gone and today i found him dead. Maybe they were fighting at night? Foxface seems to be doing good though.

Dam

Yeah my male has been in my tank for years.sucks he's Gone. What's really weird is that when I found him he had like a surgical hole on the side of him that was tunneled to his vital organs and they were cleaned out. Real strange.

Dam u have a chupacabra in u tank. Think theres a prasite that does that someone here had one maybe not parasite but pest of some kind

Theres been some thought of my mind with wrasses. Not sure if all. But wrasses eat parasites. Ive been watching this subject and have noticed people saying "wrasse killed my fish" some wrasse not just cleaners will eat parasites on other fish...some parasites so deep in a fish skin that leave exposed wound. Causing secondary infections dead tissue so wrasse continues to eat (looks like killing) dead tissue untill the other fish dies...

Ive heard of wrasses going after at another fishes eyes...being parasites present on the eye leaving the eye exposed and looking like the wrasse ate the other fish's eyes out (wound exposed where parasite live)

So, your new wrasse may have eaten a parasite leaving a wound...more infection=more tissue loss=more eating=death.

Very possible.

Got bored today so here are some updated pix of my tank. I still struggle with LEDS but this is what i can do lol. Nothing special but it works. No pix were modified other than exposure and clarity.

Ever since I got him he's had those white lines lol. No clue why. And he always looks skinny but eats like a pig. I've treated for worms too
