Joe's Community build 75g build thread

Joe, that aquaman is stellar!

And you'll love your Powder Brown; if it hadn't outgrown my tank, I'd still have mine. :)

that holder is great for now my friend, but I did something similar with your guttergard and then regretted it when they grew in and I wanted to move them. It took me forever to cut away the grid and I effed up the roots on several. I might suggest a critter keeper attached via magnet (or your egg-crate sling) with some LR rubble. The one I have that are growing best are in a Finnex HOB. The ones I planted directly in sand did not do as well as the ones with a loos pack around their roots. I think when these trees are young they expect to be mostly growing amongst the roots of other trees. When they get older they might like more to grab into. FWIW MHO and all that. I love my groves.

Hmm so your saying to give them something on their base for their roots to grab onto. Text me a picture of your set up now

Made some progress with my new fish today. I actually saw it eat and not spit out its food today. I attempted rods, mysis w/ medicated, regular mysis, nls pellets and finally brine shrimp worked. I know its not the best but at least its eating and not spitting it out. I think it may have eaten some nori but I didn't witness it.

Suggestions on how to get it to eat food other then brine?
