Jrpark22000 - 110 rimless tank

BRS pukani boulder is cooking in the other room, can't wait to put it into the attached QT to help with nitrate reduction. Hopefully only 2 more weeks until it's cured.

Thanks Kris and Vince.

Indeed Walt. Some of the colonies are getting quite large as compared to the little frags they were.

Jay what can I say? how about... :)

Things have picked up ALOT since I was last there. When you say attached qt, its attached via stand or plumbed? Any plans for new fishies in qt? :spy:

The QT does have its own stand made to match but they are seperate. The QT is plumbed into the DT. After the last QT cycle was finished everything was broken down bleached, scrubbed, bleached and them plumbed into the DT. It's all on ball vavles so in under a minute I can seperate the 2. It's my way of keeping a QT always running w/o the work of maintainin a seperate system. It does have benefits, but there are risks if everything is not properly sanitized after a QT cycle.

There are only 2 fish on my wish list and neither are amazing. I'm very happy with my fish today and everyone is peacful. I would like to replace the orange misbar clown the kole tang slashed and would like a SA clingfish. I'm in no hurry for either.

No, never! Copper is reserved for my 20g hospital tank only. This one is just a QT. I'll use stuff like prazi and metro(never have) if needed in QT. I've only ever used copper once and the fish still didn't make it, it's a last resort for me. I prefer salinity drop if possible.

Still got your little clingfish?

Ahh gotcha, makes much more sense.

Yea, he never comes out tho. Chris' comes out a bit more than mine, his is a lot bigger too. Anytime i want to see mine I have to pull out a flashlight. :p Very cool fish tho. Glad I have one, the yellow striped cling I haven't had much luck with tho :(

Yeah, my possum wrasse was the same way, but as it has grown it ventures out in open water much more. Hopefully your clingfish will do the same. Sorry to hear about your yellow striped luck.

Crappy phone photo of borb looking like a dirty hippie needing a hair cut. It is very difficult to grab a clear in focus shot, she won't listen when I ask her to stay still. It's tail fin has the same unkept uneven look to it as the back half of the dorsal fin does.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for the cling, I just got another yellow cling, but I cant find it this morning :/ Pretty Borb lady you got there, wish mine had streamers like that :P

Give it time if she is in fact a female. I don't know if they change sex if kept alone, if yours is a male. Most anthias will, but I couldn't find any one stating borbs do. I'm just glad she finally started eating flake and pellet food from the auto-feeder! I can travel for work with greater ease.

Good luck finding the yellow cling!
