I am thinking on one of these new full spectrum leds and wondering if there are any new updates from anyone that has them running and how they like them I have a 40 breeder mixed reef and not sure which one to get. Thanks
 
No experience with those brands, however, I have a Coral Compulsion Par38 full spectrum over my Nuvo 8 and every coral I've put in there love it. The color balance gives the tank a nice look.
 
Personally id get a coralcompulsion.com led light it says it covers 24x30 but since your 40 breeder is only 16"high you could raise the light higher above the tank like 16" or so and get it to spread the length of your tank. since its only penetrating maybe 14" of water give or take based on your sand bed you will lose less par than lets say a 24"high tank so you can afford to raise it higher. coralcompulsion is a sponsor here and jimmy(owner) is a super awesome dude if i do say so myself plus hes located pretty close to reefwise so if you ever have an issue or want to see his fixtures in action hes close and not across the country.
