Ooohhh what kinda tank? Sounds awesome
The 2 room 3 side tank was struck down by ductwork in the wall where I was going to put it.
so it will be a 2 side starfire glass cages with center overflow so that there are no obstructions to flow and you should be able to see all around the rock work.

Nice

Salt is mixed up in the vat and it is at 1.025 need to get a controller moved over to run my heater now and I should be able to move some livestock over, I will probably start with some snails to make sure it is ok first.

The booster pump and dual membranes is one of the best things I have ever purchases. I was running dual di for a while but I switched to dual sediment filters instead.

Awesome! A tank that big will be a lot of fun... looking forward to more progress pictures. Good luck!

ACJr is setup controlling a heater on the stock tank and 2 snails are alive after 2 days. Will start moving some rock from the 240 soon, hopefully I can move fish this Sunday and start breaking the 240 down.

No tank pictures = no care!
There is no tank at the new house yet, give a man some (more) time, that or come down here and help ;D lol

this is very cool. is that board they are attached to foam insulation or something? Definitely an interesting solution.
Yeah, it was a quick whipped together thing until I get the full setup running and have them in a 50g stock tank.

I need to move my fish to the 300g stock tank, Does anyone have any idea how to know how much rock I should move with the fish?

I need to move enough to not make a huge ammonia spike in the new tank (fish only)
but not so much as to spike ammonia in my tanks with coral.

Ideas?

Updates not all that much has changed:
- moved a little more rock to new holding tank
- added new rock to the water change stock tank at the old house to add additional surface area to allow de-nitrification when I take the 240 offline
- removed stained glass and sealed the sides of the area above the tank to prevent condensation behind the tank due to elevated humidity

I have other stuff going on this weekend but I would like to get the corals out of the display to someone that can hold them as I don't have room in the 125 to hold it.

The following weekend I would also like to get the fish and the rock out of the 240 and moved to the new house and get the 240 drained and cleaned. I then need to move the tank and get it setup at the basement of the new house.

Fish and the majority of the rock and LPS/Softies were moved March 2nd and some lighting (2 sol whites) were put up over the 300g stock tank.

Made serious progress on the new fish room this weekend.

Since the walls blocked access to the utility room, a new door opening was cut:
