Doesnt matter if a fish is common or not.. They are cool and interesting fish that deserve to be showcased since they are very beneficial to any fish tank.. Plus i love my two buds ..

+1 to this ... Mandarins are the most awesome and very peculiar fish ..

they are common yes but the number of people that keep them successfully is pretty low isnt it

Dragonets were once part of the goby family before fish were more strictly categorized, and are still called mandarin gobies quite often. Still called that at some websites, sales, and more.

Why not goby photos:questionmark: They are adorable. After this thread I think we should move onto blennies.

These are from my old 180. Sorry they are so out of focus, but my watchman goby and clownfish were best buds. They were always together. The clownfish would sit on the sand right next to him most of the time.
