Yea I heard them but had never seen an actual picture of them. It is supposed to be really rare(if not the only one) and super expensive. Very cool though!

Info in the article the one pictured is owned by a guy somewhere in the US. Havnt read article thourghly but I'll post a full size pic of the article later so all can read it

i liked when this story debuted on april 1 on reefbuilders and everyone thought it was just a prank. took a while for people to actually believe the lightning maroon is a real fish.

they are amazing looking, and i hope the breeding goes well. but i know i will never want to afford one myself.

There's no guarantee we'll ever see that lighting bar morph show up in breeding.

Especially since it has to be cross-bred with a non-lightning.

The first one died going from show to show . Matt Pederson has a cool blog about it! Looks like he just paired it with another PNG Maroon!

I think it will show up just not in any large numbers until down the line. I hope I am wrong though.
