M.A.C.I information and tickets.

Aw this is during the Home and Housewares show. Don't know if I skip a day at that to go...hmmm.

Are tickets at door? I didn't see this question answered....

Sorry, missed this question.

Yes, tickets can be bought at the door but there is a $2 discount ($10 for CMAS members) for tickets purchased prior to the day of the event. For clarity, tickets purchased prior to the day of the event will be $18 (or $10 for CMAS members) and at the door will be $20 for everybody.

Will there be a discount on buying multiple raffle tickets say I buy $100-$200 worth of tickets? Just wondering how many vendors/reefers will be selling corals there, or is this going to be more of a vendor show/speaking engagement. I'd like to buy a lot of corals if that is the case. Just figuring out what to do, I'd like to bring the fiancee but I don't know.

Hi vasilithegreek.

I am working on getting an answer for your raffle ticket question. I can tell you that we are selling sheets of raffle tickets for $20 which includes 25 tickets. I don't know if we are offering an deal for buying in bulk. As soon as I get an answer I will be sure to let you know.

As far as buying coral, you wont' be disappointed. This is not by any means a "dry show". The following retailers should be selling livestock:

Jason Fox Signature Corals
Pacific East Aquaculture
Paradise Corals
Captains Corals
Eye Candy Corals
A Reef Creation
Jim's Reef
Roc Citi Coralz

and many more... and that's not even including reefers row.

just wanted to clarify this. There is a list of 10 pet stores that are selling tickets for the event. Non-members are charged $18 and CMAS members are charged $10, right? I am pretty sure I saw that on one of the websites.
Well, I had my daughter tonight and went into Living Sea since she lives close by and wanted to purchase a ticket. Told them I was a CMAS member. They were going to charge me the $18 and said they had not heard about any discounts to CMAS members. And that was what was told to them. If there was a problem, to call Bob. Can someone please let me know if the stores are not giving the discount and if they are, can someone call either LS and possibly the other ones to let them know that they should discount. Probably won't be going back to LS to get it since the person was not too pleasant. Might have to swing by Ocean Design before Sunday. thanks.

Member tickets for $10 must be bought through the CMAS website or at the door. Be sure to bring your ID if you intend to buy the tickets at the door.

Every month we have members with expiring membership, so we didn't want to burden retailers with trying to decipher both what the policy was and trying to determine if membership was valid. Additionally, retailers have consignment agreement, and it would be difficult to track what members they sold tickets to when reimbursing CMAS for sold tickets.

Please follow the procedure here to get discounted tickets or purchase them at the door.
