Round Lake... Gurnee.... too far..? Hey guys this sounds like it is going to be a prety nice event. A days worth of reefing... Heck I travel pretty far and fairly regularly myself to go to places like MCF and ShoTank...and others. What is a little drive in the country to go to an event like this... and a frag swap.... and to support CMAS....

Sorry.... I am amazed when someone says an event like this... is too far away!!!! To each his own... but too far..?

Your Honor, I tried to explain this to my wife but she reminded me that I work 50+ hours a week and see my two small children about an hour each night before they go to bed (if at all). Devoting an entire Saturday selfishly to this hobby is not worth it to me no matter how much I would love to go (and I would). I will definitely look for additional opportunities to support this hobby, but the thousands of dollars I have spent so far will have to please the court for now.
The OP asked who is or is not going. I am not going, but I am sure it will be an amazing event (Sprung!) and I am jealous of those of you that are able to go.

I doubt you meant to offend dansreef, but to quote some book out there: "Judge not lest ye be judged."
