magnetic rocks

I picked a used one up at reefwise and love it. It has 4 shelves and 2 huge magnets I don't remember the brand though. I found it online and it was kind of expensive I paid 35$.
 
... I just tossed a broken Koralia pump with magnet... I should have thought twice and kept the encapsulated magnet part.

Maybe a wider magnet like a knockoff magfloat would do too, then it's just a DIY reef rock right?
