Matt's 9 gal AIO Nano

Tank is now 4 months old and is doing great. I lost 3 or 4 frags. All the deaths were from bleaching. I am now running a cc 20k full spectrum par 38. I love it. Its simple and has great color. My gsp that was starting to threaten nearby frags has been cut out. View attachment 13679I gotta go back in again. I try not to ever put my hands in. It takes me 5seconds to change filter floss and my water changes take and hour. I use an aqualifter on a timer. I've drilled a small hole and attached a hose to overflow into a bucket. I removed the skimmer. It was too loud for my small apartment. I practically hand feed my fish and don't really feed very often. Vc dosing is put on hold. I'm still dosing fuel and feed phyto for my clam.

My Woodstock palys are finally coloring up. I've lost them twice. Found it just chillin on my rock work open and another time in the overflow filter floss. View attachment 13680

Cherry Charms are looking good as well. View attachment 13681

I was switching my lighting around too much. I blasted them to start. Pretty much everything was affected in some way. The few I did lose were weak from the transfer regardless. All my gems survived. ;).

Here's some growth shots for you guys.

Sweet growth you are getting there bro ;) keep it up.
I'm trying to follow in your tracks by not putting my hands in the tank but I fail lol I always see something and my hands go dive tiiiime

Good luck, will be seeing you soon :spy:

So yeah. I was taking a quick gander at the tank today and noticed this.

Its one of those pest star fish feasting on my wow palys. The frag is gone. I removed the star. I'm frustrated cause that frag finally popped some babies and I've never seen the star before. Ugh.

Feck
So those stars do eat corals for real

I pulled one from over my uc polyp but that polyp is fine

Wow...sorry to hear about that Matt. Every time I see one of those stars on the glass, i pull it out.

I've been down a bit about the tank. After I removed my skimmer I stopped vc dosing. For some reason I had a huge ha outbreak and zoa pox popping up. I've dipped everything in coral rx and the infected zoas in furan. I've had good success with this. I've been so busy at work I've completly stopped caring.
