mp-10 issues

My mp10 dry side is making lots of noise and running slow only after 1 1/2 year. Does anyone know is it cheaper to buy a new dry side or can these be rebuilt. I always kept it aligned properly and quiet then a couple months ago it started getting louder date on it is 10/12. lot of money spent to only last 1 1/2 year, and warranty is 1 yeay
 
Maybe a silly question, but are you certain it is the dry side? I was just having rattling issues with one of my 40's and it sounded like the dry side but when I moved the wet side to another pump i heard the same thing and realized it was the wet side.
 
Mine was doing the same and I took apart the wet side and cleaned it out good and that helped, I'd give that a try if you haven't already. Hope that helps.
 
Thanks guys I did try cleaning wet side already I even traided with my other mp10 Its for sure bad. Ill contact ecotech and see what they can do. thanks
 
Have you been able to get in contact with Ecotech? I'm curious to hear what they said they would be able to do for you.
 
Mike, hopefully they help you out but if not, a new dry side I think is around $100. Hopefully they take care of it for you though.
 
After a year and a half, hopefully they will help you out. It's very unusual for the wet side to crap out so I'm sure they will take care of you.
