My Newvo Beginning

Hey guys can anyone please tell me what media should i use in my tank right now i have some fluval carbon and a small spondge any good advice? Ive heard chemi pure is good and seachem matrixs

I run filter floss, chemipure blue and purigen. The purigen is overkill with the chemipure blue but I run carbon in a reactor as well.

I'm a fan of seachem matrix for nitrates, but in your size tank the only reason I'd use it is to reduce the amount of live rock needed.

Purigen seems to work a lot like carbon, but last much much longer. That said carbon does seem to work faster.

Chemipure blue seems like an "all-in-one" blend of carbon, purigen-like and either gfo or LC, which is convenie nt for nanos.

So I'd probaby simplify (take reactor off line) and just run floss, CPblue & some matrix....and then after a week remove some live rock to make more room for more coral or fish :)

Hello guys so I decided to go a different route with my 10 gallon so I bought the livestock from Chariss24 and they were two beautiful black crowns included so I decided to switch it around and to add all the corals from my 10 to my new 30l nuvo tell me what you think about the new setup does anybody thinks the carpet anemone is too big for the 10 gallon ?View attachment 12436
