I did ditch the LEDs, the technology is cool, but way still in its infant stages. Too much bling bling shimmer and disco ball effects. I love the shimmer only 2 sources of light. Much more natural and MHs is a tried and true light to grow corals. I will make a small fuge light from my cool and neutral whites LEDs and use a few Royal Blues for moon lights. The rest I will sell.
 
Looks very good. What bulbs are you using? Are you planing couple of actinic T5's maybe to supplement MH?
 
I'm using Phoenix 14K bulbs. I will be adding a VHO 420 & 455 bulb in the near future. As for the paint, just regular enamel paint from Menards, but like 3 coats.
