New build

Nice choice for lights, you'll have plenty of power, ust make sure and keep it set low. The SOL over my 17gal nem tank could probably boil the water on high.

I pretty much have everything I need to get water in this tank. He's the plan..

Disinfect the tank with a 1/10 bleach ratio and the RW4 I bought used. Then give it a vinegar bath along with the RO HOB skimmer I have on loan. Going to go and buy the stand (https://www.menards.com/main/p-1444429588215-c-12652.htm?tid=7575118614204143312). Then I'm adding 20lbs of new sand and move all the live sand and live rock I have in the 28 as well as. This might be enough but still going to get some Dr. Tim's just in case. and finally move the fish and two frags I have..

Stand is put together and I've sanitized the tank. Have to go get vinegar to give it a good cleaning

If it were me I would figure out away to x brace the back of it just to give it a little more straight yoy are at 374lbs with out aging your rock thst just water and sand. Just looking out for you in the long run

Good looking out Matt! The stand is able to hold 800lbs per shelf. It's more then enough for the one tank. I've looked this style of stand up and i've seen guys used them to stack 4 40 breeders.

Nice, from picture it doesn't look that beefy, must be good steel, bolts and design. Will look cool all loaded up.

A buddy, hit me over the head and helped me understand what I hope your talking about so I added the other braces between the bottom and top of the tank...

Good Looking out!

Ok kool just don't wanna see anything bad happen to anyone good luck with the build

Yea that stand is used often with breeders as the size match up. But usually they add the other shelves making it to required weight capacity.
So if you have added some of the extra metal supports your good.
...a buddy had suggested i use coasters to get in the back if need be(very needed)
But he suggested it once it was filled. And be carefull as being top heavy can tip

Let me know how the coasters work out.
