New tank question

I recently set up a smaller tank ( 18 gallon) to put in my office and grow out a few things. If I use r/o and good salt shouldn't I be a me to add the corals fairly quickly. I also added a few pieces of rock from my display. Down the road I will add a few small fish but I understand why they need to be added slowly.

even if you use the ro/di water and good salt the tank still needs to go through a cycle. once that has happened you can add away. you can use established rock and sand to help with the process, and even some of the water from your other system.

If u use established rock from other tank. U prob won't even see a cycle. IMO 1 week would be good. But that's me.

As long as you transported the live rock from your tank in water and didn't leave it out of the water for too long you should be good to go in no time. Have fun!
