New tank sump question...

I currently have a 75 gallon display. I got my hands on a 150.... I am going to build a stand slightly longer than the tank (4ft) and a I want it a bit higher for better viewing than a standard stand. My question is would my 75 gallon be overkill for a sump/ fuge

150gal DT with 75gal sump should work out great.. More water volume is always better

Since you are building your own stand it should be nice.

Not overkill at all...you could really open up the DT for rock and move a lot into the sump for a less cluttered look.

And you could also use your sump for those "problem" fish.

I say go with biggest sump you can fit, your 75 should work great with your set up.
