Nice fish to add to your Collection

I am seriously considering moving to HI to collect these things. It can't be THAT hard to find them if they exist. Invest 10k in equipment and ROI is 300% on first catch.

I'm just saying, if it was me, I'd probably sold that baby. Although it is rare, there has to be another down there. I'd rather take the money, for more research funding, then give the fish to a museum or aquarium for free...or else that other angel in the tank with it kills it from bullying. That's just me. :)

LOL, you say it like he's crazy. Isn't $30,000 equal to about one months cost of living in Hawaii anyways?

Milk is $7 a gallon there. Crazy expensive. All the same, for the price of the fish, you could fill a 4300 gallon tank with milk! So who else is thirsty?

The whole point of the video is the fish is on loan to be viewed by the public until the end of its "natural" life. It then goes back to the museum it was on loan from for dissection and scientific study. He is rescuing this fish from an otherwise death sentence it was caught to serve. I doubt even if he was offered a million dollars, that contractually, he is obligated to decline the offer. I am certain that there are more of these fish in obscenely wealthy people's private aquariums safely tucked away from public eyes.

Meh I don't think there is more than just one kept captive.
