Swapped out the pump for a Nuvo 16 pump for now til I get a better one. Decent amount of flow.. thats for sure..

Now we wait a bit and stock the hell out of it.

I was thinking of doing that when I had it
It's own pump is too little flow Dow that tank
 
I'm in teh process of removing everything from my nuvo and starting anew. Gonna be fun trying to catch the purple firefish and tiger goby.

What is your plan for it?


I'll need to get some clean up crew but I want to do something different.. not just normal red/blue legged crabs... Haven't really decided.

Ya.. I'll need to get some CUC in there.. I blame BB. I made fun of his pet algae and eff'd with my tank!

Its your **** laser beam of a LED Tin! eh.. that picture was with whites only... to hard to take a picture with just blues on. I do feel like I am getting a tan when that LED is fully on tho

i had to have that led at an angle or it would be a distraction .. it does grow things good though ..

you need like 4 hours of whites and like 12 hours of blues .. with that many blues .. and the colors would be nice ..

you ran all the blues? geebus.. I mostly have only had the 5 on.

yes .. i ran all of them for 4 hours and then only blues all of them for another 8 hours (2 hours before whites on and 6 hours after whites off)

blues doesnt promote algae and improve the color of the corals ... and whites provide necessary growth spectrum ..

Im going to have to, I thought I had some left over my tank at home but they aren't 3-plug compatible. Thanks for link. I'll be picking some up soon.

Once I pick up the timers, I'll run the same and see. Only the Blue was on all weekend. Do you still happen to have those PAR readings?
 
i somehow find digital timers not so dependable.. i tried 2 of them a while ago with a Ato pump and both of them would get stuck in on for more than the timer is set for ...


they worked fine for other applications but just saying .. id always prefer those analog timers ..
