Odd clown out

I have had the 3 clown for about a year. All same size when I added. Stayed grouped together for a long time. Then the two Larger ones kind off paired up and smaller one kind of got pushed out of the group and started hanging on opposite side of tank. Yesterday I noticed for the first time that they had the smaller one pinned under a rock and every time he showed himself they attacked him. Is this common when they mature or pair up? I removed the smaller clown to sump right now.

Time to sell or trade the odd clown out. the other 2 will try to kill him or beat him up real good.
