OpTiCz's Office Cube

Hey, I have about 20lbs of fine live sand in the bucket sitting outside, not outdoor still in house but in the cold place for a couple months. still clean
you can have it if you want, just bring your bucket. or I can bring it with me to work..
you can pick up from downtown Chicago.
let me know.
its free
I don't know if you still call it live...

Nice mouse...Being in the tech field, I didn't think anyone still used that kind of mouse.

Cool setup though

Wow, I didn't get any notice on these replies!

How's that hood Slumpy? I'd like that sand, but it's a bit of a drive.

I'm in IT too. I switched to a trackball because I was getting some corporal tunnel symptoms. Switched to a more comfortable keyboard too.

It was great to meet you Bill.
Thanks for the awesome rock!
I loved your tank, maybe one day I might..... hopeless dreaming.

Here's where I'm at:

Picked up free rock and free sand.
Made a media basket for 3 bucks, honestly, 3 bucks.
Total so far is 58 Bucks!

don't forget the diverter on that basket;) . I have to re-make mine as the diverter keeps the surface water a little high.

Lookin good, but since you've already made it topless, why not go all the way and rip the plastic trim off and go rimless?

I'm contemplating having a new glass top cut so it covers the back chambers. It's much more quiet that way.

I'm planning on placing an order with inTank, and their deflector or whatever is only 7 bucks.

You don't take the whole thing off, just the front 3 sides wrapping around the glass, you could still very easily make a glass/acrylic panel to set over the back 4" or so.

That's true. I've never run MH. What sort of evaporation would I have to deal with?
