IMO it's hardly supporting the community. When was the last time something for the community happened? There hasn't been a prize contest in who knows when, the last "sponsored" CR event (came out of volunteer personal funds). I understand this site is a money making venture, I mean who wouldn't want to make a little money on the side (why do you think I'm doing WCR?), but don't be confused as it being disguised as supporting the community. Your basically paying a premium for the convenience of access to hidden forums (if you haven't qualified for them) and a bigger PM box.
