My power came back at 3pm today, total of 3 days of no electricity for me.

That stinks,i hate the feeling,i will wait for the generators to come down in price and have one on hand.

They can be had for 300-400. A cheaper route is a duplicate car battery and an inverter, most inverters have a sensor to shut off before the battery gets too low that it wont start a car. then switch batteries and Whalah a fresh new battery.
