hey guys here are some pics i took of the par meter and the new lights... tank dimensions are 60x24x24 and the lights are at 12" above water. i will post a full tank shot so you can have an idea where the meter was placed according to the lights. :) enjoy.

LIGHTS ARE SITTING 12 INCHES ABOVE! my dimensions are given from the water line to the par sensor. ADD 12" to any number i give if you are interested in the total "inches " away from led light to sensor :)

full tank shot for reference ... if any of you tried taking pics of your led tank.. you quickly realize.. that its harder to do. colors don't always show the reality on how the tank looks. so of anyone wants to see them in person... pm me:)

this par test was mostly for me... i did it so i know where to place my corals when i get them.. i suggest that everyone does their own test if they want to be sure. i am more than satisfied with the output that these led give.. and at the moment had to reduce them to 60% so i don't bleach my corals...

my schedule is set up that they turn on at 10% then jump to 20% then 40% then 60%. i keep the blues a little higher all the time., makes the coral look awesome :)

Looks like you can keep anything you want anywhere in the tank!! How about some encrusting rainbow monti as your sandbed instead of sand? Haha, with those lights you can do it!!

I wish... haha.. I am having trouble keeping any kind of Monti ..its weird. They turn white in2 weeks

Thank you for letting me conduct PAR readings in your tank. As always i hope you are happy with the quality and results of my fixtures and hope to continue serving everyone locally and out of town as well. Time to start adding corals.

I can't wait for more corals. So far the lights are great.. I love that I can play with the intensity of it. The dusk /dawn effect is awsome. My existing corals seem to love kt.it.

Does anyone have a video of how's these work and the adjustments that you can do? Can you change them from say at dawn start out like 12k and then go to 20k? Is there a moonlight ability on here? What is the spread coverage on the 55 model? Is this more equal to a 250 or 400 mh

I cant answer all your questions gus will but a major factor for leds were to be able to set timers to dusk dawn and this allows different percentage for white and blue to be set for each hr ex 11 blue 40% and whute off 12 60 % wgie 20 % pretty much what ever uou like at yhe times you want it both blue and white are seperat as far as moon light i just run blue 10% for hrs i want moonlighting on really is a good light user friendly and price is not bad at all this is for the neptune i had previously used 400 watt halides then made switch to leds of different brands the compare very good in my eyes without the cost heat so on and son that some worry about hope this helps a little also prestige-led cuatomer service is top notch he will answer any of your questions shoot him a pm

The spread on the SPS-55 model is 24''x24'' 8-10inches above water with 120* lens and is comparable to a 400watt halide at 100% or a 250watt halide at 60% power. The Neptune spread is about 30''x18'' at same height and is a bit above a 400watt halide at 100% and much like a 250watt halide at 60%.
