Remember the Feds don't have police cars.. They usually have local pd help.. But sometimes they don't.

Question is .., can you give speeding tickets ?
 
I don't write tickets ever. And no they can't give speeding tickets. No radar gun and that will get thrown out in court. But don't think that was original ?

There are always exceptions, but the original question was can we as off duty officers, use our "personal" vehicles to conduct traffic stops. Feds don't do random traffic stops, and for what they use and even undercover/tac guys use their vehicles for, it's best to be incognito and unmarked.
