Hope that red milli is growing like a weed. I'll need to buy another frag when it's time to cut. Ended up tossing mine this morning

Man, awesome setup, but don't you think the water level in the sump is too high? How much does it raise when pump is off?
 
It is a little high but when all power is lost there is plenty of room still left in there , I have a check valve on the supply right off the pump and whatever water comes from the overflows is minimal.

So down stairs this morning and I see I have some natrual sunlight in the tank right on the pink lemonade and found the fish sunbathing in it

My tank gets about 20 mins of sunlight in the morning and all the coral and fish love it. I enjoy just sitting here drinking a cup of coffee and watching them.

just picked up this build thread.....wow....that stand/seating cabinet looks fantastic!....excellent work.
and tank looks awesome too, great job bud

Well a little update everything is doing great and I couldn't be happier with the whole setup , I took my time to do things that really bothered me with the old tank and it really payed off, running a cal reactor going back to T 5s and having a lot of fish ( have 9 now but looking for a total of 14-16 ) most are wrasse and have 2 leopard wrasse's on order and not sure what else I'm going to get, I'm getting great color in all the corals and the parameters are consistent week after week I just ordered a new ro/di unit 6 stage with dual di and all the goodies.

The unit I have now works good but having the water saver unit I have found that I'm making a lot more water then before so I should really like that option.
