rubber mat underneath acrylic?

I used 1/2" pink rigid foam insulation
It was like $10 for a 4x8 sheet

i was thinking that but this looks a little more sturdy lol im a klutz and i can see myself breaking it easy. Thats why I am thinking this but hope its not too hard and has some cusion. I read on the reviews peole using this for gym mats

I would not mind putting some of that under my sump giving my cabinet some water protection.

ya it is sturdy but smells, i had to clean it 3-4x with pinesol and other stuff

lol does it really stink wow lol. Do you recommend putting under sump? kinda giving it a water proofing. I can get some pinesol lol. Whenever someone says pinesol I think of the
lady who used to be the spokesperson for pinesol lol.

lol if you can get the rubber tire smell i dont see why not and let it bake in the sun make sure you scrub the hell out of it
