Seahorse tank

Love seahorses had a 55gal pony tank for 4yrs but lot of maintaince so quit few years back had yellow redi and orange few of each

Thanks guys! I agree, definately alot of maintenance madjoe, but it's worth it. This was an excuse to setup another tank. My wife hates the hobby, but saw the seahorses at Aquapros and fell in love with it. Just waitin on Dave at AP to get me a mate for this one. I originally bought two, but for some reason the other seahorse stopped eating after a couple days.

Low flow and I don't believe they like intense lighting. I feed enriched mysis a few times a day, and every now and then give him live brine shrimp. These things can eat! I have my tank setup next to my computer desk. Every time I sit down, he is at the front of the glass swimming up and down looking at me to feed him.

low flow super clean water. u have to do research on safe corals to keep with them some will sting em. they supossly each so much cause they dont digest there food kinda goes in one end out the other should be feed three times a day if there stomach is sunken in not feeding enough . right about the mysis with vitamins they actually sell a powder think made buy ora . thats where my ponys came from. lighting never had any problems with bright light . but they r like chameleons so blue back ground and colorful anchor points help keep color. be honest i always had issues with keeping colors no matter how bright i made tank lol. did have babies few times but forget that way too much work raiseing . good luck i have some pics of my set up if u guys want to see. like i said no longer set up though. do miss em

Sweet setup Aaron , one day i want to setup something just like that. Is that orange coral a sponge? How long have you had it?
