Wanted to know everyones thoughts about having a section just for members over 1000 posts?

This section can't be viewed if you have less than 1000 posts.. This might benefit members 1st with things for sale or other hook ups.. List can go on

I like it because I have them and I'm a sucker for belonging to stuff. I bet we'll hear from the proletariat though :)
 
Is it sad that I really want to make a joke thats quasi-political, but I know I'll get yelled at for it?? Even though its tame!!
 
We already have that in place, but you need 3000 posts to access it. It's amazing how much stuff opens up @3000. U guys won't believe your eyes!

How about just a "I use fishtanks to take my mind off the divisive partisan world I am pummeled with for 10 hours a day so no anger or politics" Society?

Perhaps the secret society should be for those CR Supporters.... Just Saying.... that would be another approach...
 
I think that would be neat... an UNCENCSORED/UNMODERATED forum for just senior-senior members... I mean we all know each other pretty well already, why not have a spot we can talk freely? I like it.

Open to those who meet a certain level of posts, yes. Supporters, no. Otherwise that defeats the purpose of the intent of an area for the senior of members.

Yup!! That was the idea also.. To keep from new members seeing all the drama here :D

Yea but there are already perks for payed members, this idea should be a perk for "active" members regardless of payed status or not. Could be a few additional forums become visible at that point. We have a solid enough active member base now this makes sense and motivates newer people to be more active and contribute to the site. Perhaps making Marketplace forums not count to total, and lowering the post requirement is another good approach, as some less active members majority of posts are FS/WTB oriented.
