I have a bunch of ugly corals that I've got nice pictures of... lol

Here's a browned out shortcake from DD that is slowly coming back. Notice the nice shades of brown.

No dslr, just a fairly simple digital Lumix camera on "macro" mode.

Here's a blue tenuis. Had the worst redbug infection and nearly died. Again, it's not a knockout coral, but the pic came out nice.

Very nice pics John, but only one submission please. Pick which one you want to submit and then delete the other one if you don't mind. Thanks!

Man i'm embarrased to even try to post after these macro shots.

That's why i got mine in early ;) I took a pic of the piece that was closest to the front of my tank using the macro setting on my cheap camera and that was the best I got. As long as yours is alive, I'll bet you won't be in last place, LOL :becky:

I think this lens is maxed out ;-)

That sps died last year when my 150g crashed. It was A wild aquablue acro from Australia. There's a few frags in RC that locals have.

Here is another to add to the mix.

Maybe not the most exciting coloration but I am happy with the overall composition and details.

Thanks Badgus & Maidia... great photos also.
You two ready to share your secrets on keeping that beautiful deep purple coloring on your acro's?! :thumb:
