Yes, running carbon and GFO with BRS media reactor but I put a bag of carbon to cover the holes after reading about someone else doing that online. I had some other suggestions like putting baking soda or kalkwasser in the the skim cup. the baking soda would kill and the kalkwasser would raise ph too high for bacteria to live. I was afraid if the cup overflowed and it would poison my tank but the bag idea is actually working really well.
