Smitty's 37gal reef

Wow. I wonder why birdsnest do that. Well, at least now you can sow for something else new to fill that vacancy. Go high-end!! Your tank looks great, though.

And yeah...that light is way up there.

I'll probably take a break from green birdsnests because that's the second one that did that. But I'm definitely thinking of what I want to get next. I'm in no rush tho.
When I had my light lower, it was killing my corals. Everything was frying and losing color.

An updated pic of my reef taken tonight...including a few pieces I'm baby sitting for a buddy (jimmyjohn), who's moving.

This guys tank looks wayy better in person. Pictures dont do justice. I cant believe he has his leds literally mounted to the ceiling, and his tank still shines. Thats like a 4ft distsnce to the water. Clean and nice tank.

Thanks, what optics are on the LEDs , cause I want something similar where I'm hanging the lights at least a couple of feet above the tank.

I'm not sure of the optics...sorry. But yeah, you could definitely hang these a lil from the tank.

Wow that thing is super packed is the tank still stable after you added the stuff your babysitting?

Yep...the tank is still stable. Nothing changed but the amount of space in there. :)

Great looking tank Smitty! You have a great mix in there. Lots of contrasting colors. It's a sweet setup!
