Someone tried to steal my car this morning..

I do alarm installs and sound systems on the side. Best piece of advice i can give you: cut off switch and lo jack. My friends civic was stolen at the costco by north ave and 1st. This happened in the middle of day while he went in there to buy something. Apparently they had been planning it for awhile. He had one of my alarms and one of my cut off switches, yet they went in with a tow truck and took it away in seconds. My friend still regrets not getting the lo jack. The cut off switch will get any of the casual thieves, they wont be able to start your car no matter what they do( sounds like the type that hit you) the ones that have your car on radar will not be deterred, for those the lo jack is your best chance at getting them before they strip your car.

Well I removed the ecu ...the battery and one other minor trick. So . Only way there getting it now is a trailer.... Lojack is deff the way to go though .if that was the case I would of got ready warmed the car up and then went on my way lol
 
Congrats on getting your car back! Its sad to see what this world is coming to. To bad you didn't catch them and give'em a good beat down... ;(
 
Sorry that happened to you, that's not a nice way to wake up in the morning.
I kinda know the feeling last year when someone had real big balls to break in my enclosed trailer, thank god only thing in there was my old mustang that's taken apart.
They actually knew exactly how to get into in by breaking the hindged latch without even worrying about the lock. They did it the night before 4th of july last year and we thought it was a weird boom. I didn't think anything of it cause of the fireworks.
I also didn't know about it till a few weeks later when I went to use the trailer.
The Bad part was a few weeks before we had a strom knock out power so it reset the camera plz to the down position.
NOW I hope they come back to try to steal anything, I'll just leave it at that.

I had my trailer broken into twice. Both times was at the same storage facility... I have since changed where i store it.
 
These imports being stolen is crazy! I remember the performance shop in Indiana getting busted for running a chop shop a few months ago.

Glad you got it back! I walked out of my uncles house to see my rear window shattered and a SUV creeping up the street with the lights off and went for my front windshield. Made my uncle jump in the car and chase him, told him to ram the car but he wouldn't. Called the police with the license plate and they didn't do crap!
