Hi. Ok, I have a problem. Over 10 months ago I bought SPS 55 light from Prestige-Led. Many of you guys recommended that light. And guy who was making and selling them, GUS from Chicago. So I went to his basement and bought it, just to try. Well, after 2 months light start acting strange. Blue LEDs start flickering. I had his email so I emailed him. I got response from guy from Arizona, that he bought Prestige-Led and now his installing data base of customers and will talk to me soon. It's been 7 months and nothing. Now whites and blues flicker all the time. Sometimes supporting local business isn't a good idea. I know many of you has Prestige-Led fixtures. Any advice?. Thanks.

Sounds like bad connection or ballast going bad . U could fix if u handy i doubt they gonna do anything for u if they havent already

Yeah Gus sold his patents and everything a while ago.

Personally I would pester the new owner to death.

Isn't going to do much.
Gus left everyone high and dry. D1ck move. Still pisses me off to this day. I have a SPS55 as well. Buttons stopped working. Can barely see the screen. 7 LEDs don't work... Etc

He told me he would fix it all but kept stalling until he could wash his hands of the business.

well the bloodline of a buisness is word of mouth .. if i was you ...i would tell them you will dedicate the next 3 months smearing their name on every forum ,,, unless they make good and fix the light ...it may put a fire under their *** .. i dunno

that wont do much good, the name is already mud at this point..

its still better than dooing nothing .. mabe if the guy purchased the prestiege name he may have hopes of resurrecting it ...

****. Sorry to hear. I also bought a light from Gus with the notion that he is local but a month after I found out he is selling. Kind of bs. Shoulda disclosed that to his customers.

Check the ground wire. When I had the one of the Prestige lights the ground wire was loose. Be careful soldering it. The previous owner of Prestige shorted out the led drivers when trying to fix it

I took cover of. 3 power supply's and 2 led drivers. What should I look for. Never run them on 100% I did it now and they stop flicker turn them down and here we go again. Maybe that helps to decide what should I replace first?

unless you really know what you're doing Id let the manufacturer deal with it. Although LED's are run of fractions of an amp they can still cause serious damage to yourself if you make an error. Remember that's how the manufacture engineered n designed the LED's replacing parts with other ones may not be compatible..

Like I said before, Gus from Prestige-Led sold company and there is no warranty on them. I talked to new representative. Do you know anybody in our area who can fix it?
