Stolen clams from Reefwise

I do want to add one last thing. I was talking to Matt from Sho-Tank Aquariums about the stolen carpet anemone. He has been robbed 7 times in the last 10 years. He says the thefts tend to happen when the store is crowded and there are plenty of distractions.

There is one little thing we can all do about this.

If you are at your LFS keep an eye on what other people are doing. If you think someone is suspicious keep an eye on them and tell the owner. If its crowded do what you can to help. Obviously we can't always be at the shops all the time but you never know when you will be in a position to help.

+1. The stores rely on us to keep them in business. Besides, if you stop a thieve, you're getting free stuff from the owner. :)

Pretty sad really. Desperation is one thing, but when people steal things like animals, for a hobby, that's obviously not simply trying to feed their family but an indication of an overall lack of morals.

I hope the store owner doesn't feel too significant of pain and I ultimately hope the clams found a good tank.
