Man these are one of those days that i wish i wasnt a reefer.. Too many things that went wrong today.. Sorry if im b!tching to much.. Just extremely frustrated.. My awesome new bta i got sunday..

Went nuclear on me. Wont up this morning to cloudy a$$ water. Not sure what the caused it but it didn't like my tank for some reason..

Did a quick 25% water change and added carbon to the tank.. Found that my yellow tail blue damsel and my lubbocks wrasse, and porcelain anemone crab was dead.. Couldnt find traces of my midas and was hoping for it to be ok..

Went to aquacave after my work and got a IM skimmer for my nuvo to help clean the tank.. Did another water change and finally after searching found my midas behind my rock work.. Dead...

Truly a frustrating day.. Seriously lost so much fish but there was a small group of survivors my red bta and my serpent star..

Def goes to show u that anything can happen to our tanks regardless of how well u keep things.. Just totally sucks to have had one thing take down everything..

Well my ranting/complaining is over thanks for listening everyone.. Hopefully i can bounce back from this.. Truly gets u depressed when ur livestock dies..
 
Same thing happened to me. Except I lost a lot of very expensive fish. My wife doesn't ever want me to have another. They blow up like that and ur screwed. U did everything u could. Good luck moving forward.
 
Do u have a powerhead in your tank? My guess is that the anemone released and floated into your powerhead. Mine did that when I still had anemones, so I sold them all. I will never own one again because of that.
 
Such is the life of a reefer. It matters not what we do. It all rests in the hands of our captive creatures. I know you expected something like this would happen, as do I. It's a fragile world we try to recreate. There's nothing you could have done. Nature did it all for you. Rest easy fellow reefer, you provided them a stable environment. Keep your head up and carry on.
 
Oh man Jeff, I'm really sorry to hear this. I know I get really bummed out just losing an acro frag. Just remain positive and you'll bounce back.

Demmit, this is scaring me :(

feel sorry for you bro .. is it possible that something is wrong with the nem itself ? i mean how do we know if its not doing good ?
