The most UNDERWHELMING build thread ever

Sweet lil tank... So are we going to see an MP10 anytime soon ;)

What do you feed the sexy shrimp?

Mostly NLS pellets and occasionally I'll drop in a few mysis or even a very small amount of rinsed Rod's. They all molted multiple times and seem to be fast growers. I like them tiny but have a feeling they'll be full grown in a couple months. Oh well, at least I'll be able to see them without putting my face up to the tank :)

Why led fixture do you have there I might end up using the same for mine

I'm using a Skkye Light like this one. http://www.marinedepot.com/Innovati...-Innovative_Marine-0I10204-FILTFILDTN-vi.html

The problem is that this light is designed for a slightly larger & deeper tank so the frame had to be bent to pull the light inwards to be centered over the tank. I'm probably going to try and bend it some more to raise it up a bit to get rid of a slight shaded area around the outside perimeter. As information...this light does NOT have an on/off switch. It has separate plugs for whites/blues which I need to plug/unplug each day. Like I said before, I would have much rather went with a PAR30 but there was no way to raise it high enough over the tank to avoid a major spotlight issue. (The tank has a shelf over it so and it got in the way when I tried to raise the PAR30.)

Is that light enough to keep softies rics zoas with no issues? I might just end up doing the same thing as you are and just do sexy shrimp. And maybe a small snail.

Yup, in fact I'm going to try and bend it so it is farther away from the water surface. The ric's seem to be geting a little too much light right now. Under PC's the ric's were huge partly becasue they were starving for light. Under these leds, they are small and tight.
